Hello,

I read the paper SLYT726 (What you need to know about high-speed cables for FPD-Link III SerDes).

There is a coax cable length of 15m. Do you have any experience with a coax cable length of 20m?
Do have a value of the maximum loss, that the 954 can handle?
Do have a datasheet for the coax cable of the EVMs package?

    We do have the following Total channel requirements:


    Total Transmission Channel = SER PCB (with PoC) + Cable and Connectors + DES PCB (with PoC)

    Frequency --- max. IL

    f=1MHz ==== -1.4dB
    f=5MHz ==== -2.3dB
    f=10MHz === -2.5dB
    f=50MHz === -3.5dB
    f=100MHz == -4.5dB
    f=500MHz == -9.5dB
    f=1.0GHz == -14.0dB
    f=2.1GHz == -21.6dB
