H Team,
What is the TUSB212 register EQ and boost setting if TUSB212 in I2C mode? there is no MCU on the I2C bus.

Hi Malik,
Thanks for feedback.
Customer original design pull high the I2C bus without connecting to MCU. customer think the EQ and boost gain should be decide by EQ and DC_Boost pins at reset. however, customer found they change the EQ and Boost setting are in vain.
Until removing the pull high resistor, cusotmer can use the EQ and Boost pins HW setting to design EQ and boost.
Would you please provide comment on this behavior or possible senario?

HI SHH,
TUSB212 detects the SDA and SCL pull-ups to enter I2C mode. Removing the I2C master will not prevent TUSB212 from entering I2C mode so EQ and DC_Boost setting will not change dynamically. If no I2C master is present then pull ups should be removed. In general, customer should stick to either GPIO mode (no I2C pull-ups) or I2C mode (I2C pull-ups with I2C master).
