1) What is RBIAS? The pin description on page 9 of Data Sheet says to tie it to a 4.99K resistor to GND, but would like to know more about the function of that pin
2) On pages 10-11, Figures 2-1 and 2-2, note that the 0.1uF caps that are tied to the magnetics center taps are shown with an asterisk next to them. Can not find the reference regarding what the asterisk means.
3) On some of the PHY chips, we have to supply analog and digital power with two separate LDOs, this effectively isolated the two power sources. On TLK100 , is it true that VDD33_VA11 (pin 11) is the ONLY analog power pin to this device, and the other 9 power pins (1,2,4,7,17,20,21,29,41) are all essentially digital? We plan on only using 3.3V for this device (no 1.8V or 1.1V sources will be used, so we’ll hook up according to Figure 2-1)
4) Is there a list of recommended crystals to use with this device?
