DS280DF810: Data transmission rate inquiry

Hi Team,

Would you advise is it possible to support 15.625Gbps with this IC?

My customer asked this because he understand transmission rate can be change

by register setting but the customer can set even integer only. Is an odd number possible?

Second question, is IBIS-AMI file available if the customer request thru TI.COM?

    Hi,

    Related to the question: "Would you advise is it possible to support 15.625Gbps with this IC?"

    • The DS280DF810 does not support 15.625Gbps in retimed mode
    • The cuatomer may instead evaluate implementing the DS280DF810 in CDR bypass raw data mode to support this speed. IBIS-AMI simulation may be used as initial evaluation tool for the system channel in question

    is IBIS-AMI file available if the customer request thru TI.COM?

    • Yes that is correct. The customer may request download access via the TI.com DS280DF810 product page
