TPD2S703-Q1: Can support in USB3.0 SuperSpeed path?

Hi Sir,

I saw the datasheet mentioned TPD2S703-Q1 can support USB3.0 but from the characters table the bandwidth only 960MHz,

How about the performance of USB3.0 2.5GHz?

Hi Anne,

The USB3.0 port will have 9 pin including "DP,DM,VBUS,GND ,RX+,RX-,TX+,TX-,GND_DRAIN".

This device support DP and DM channel ESD protection ,so the application list the US3.0.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for the feedback, and my customer is looking for the part which has same feature as TPD2S703-Q1 but support USB3.0 TX+/- & RX+/- short protect from Battery, Vbus and GND. And support Automotive spec.

Could you please help to suggest on it?

Hi Anne,

I am sorry, our product line don't have the TX,RX ESD protection device at this moment.

You can search in the TI.com to checking whether TI have other suitable USB3.0 TX,RX ESD protection device.
