Part Number: TUSB9261
I've been designing a board that uses the TUSB9261 chip. So far the design is exactly the same as the provided reverence design, the TUSB9261DEMO, and I've built up a PCB based on it. The issue I'm having is that, for some strange reason, the device will connect to the computer perfectly, it will even pop up in the burner utility, then after a few seconds to a minute it disconnect, with the voltage rails dropping when the device disconnects. I checked the resistance across the rail to ground, and they drop to nearly ~1-2 ohms, sometimes less. If I leave the board to sit for a few minutes, the resistance across the 3.3v rail returns to about 4kohms and the resistance across the 1.1v rail returns to about 460 ohms. Removing the chip from the board removes the short from the voltage rails, which leads me to think there's an issue internal to the chip. However, I've removed the chip and replaced it several times on the PCB, and it does not change anything. Any ideas as to what my issue is?
