Hi expert,

My customer would like to know the connection should be on HDMI connector pin 13, 14 and what does these do for?

Pin 14 SPDIF_IN

    Hi

    For CEC, please refer to Fig 30 of the DP159 datasheet. CEC is connected directly from pin 13 of the connector to the source assuming this is a motherboard design.

    DP159 does not support ARC (audio return channel) function, the SPDIF connection will be between the source and the connector, bypassing DP159.
