TPD1E05U06: Used as single ended esd protection device

Good afternoon,

The datasheet indicates usage of this part for differential ESD protection, but it seems like it could also be used for 4 single ended signals. Is there any issue with this? Is there any internal coupling that would cause problems?

    Hi Julia,

    The TPD1E05U06 is a single channel device which is also offered in a package to protect 4 lines which is the TPD4E05U06. Both devices are on the same datasheet.

    Regarding your question, the device can be used for 4 single ended signals. Each channel is independent of the other channels in the device and will provide the same protection on each.
