it support some PD3.0 feature. If you need fully PD 3.0 compliant, you may need PD controller.

Hi,

The TUSB422 supports all PD2.0 and PD 3.0 messages except for the PD 3.0 Get Source Capabilities Extended Message.

This type of message is sent by a Port to request additional information about a Port’s Source Capabilities. See 6.5.1 Source_Capabilities_Extended Message in the PD 3.0 spec for more details.
