I am Meiyappan from Board design team.
We are designing a daughter card where RS232 transceiver should support max of 10Mbps.
Could you please recommend a RS232 transceiver supports max data rate of 10Mbps?

    Meiyappan,

    TI so far doesn't have any RS232 transceiver working with 10Mbps. Please be aware RS232 is not a high data rate signaling. The fastest device TI has is TRSF3232E working with 1Mpbs signal. Please be aware that the highest data rate can be achieved in applications is also capacitive load dependent. What kind of cable do you use and how long would it be?

    Thanks for the clarification that no RS232 transceiver currently runs at 10 Mpbs data rate.
