HI 

i would like to use the SN65DPHY440SS  re-timer to extend the MIPI signal from the camera board to the AP in another board,  3 meter away  from each other, will it work ? any limitation for each lane clock, any sepcial cable recommendation ?

    What is the insertion loss of the 3m cable? The DPHY440 RX side can compensate 4dB at Nyquist frequency of 500MHz and TX can provide 2.5dB pre-emphasis. 

    You also need to make sure the inter-pair skew meets the DPHY440 RX setup and hold spec as listed in the datasheet.
