Hi,
We've procured part number 54ACTQ16245FMQB (16-BIT TRANSCEIVER WITH THREE-STATE OUTPUTS) from National Semiconductor. Since TI acquired NSC in 2011, Can you provide a circuit schematic for this part number?
Thanks,

Hi Brian,
I'm not sure there is still a circuit schematic available. What type of information about the device do you want to understand?

Lee
Hi Lee,
We're performed failure analysis on this part. We're trying to understand the layout of the device so we know what we're looking at under high magnification using a scanning electron microscope (SEM). Also having the schematic would help us trace out possible paths of potential ESD damage sites.

Hi Brian,
Several engineers have looked through design folders from that timeframe. We did not find any design schematics from the logic devices. All I could find is a generic graphic from a period datasheet. The input on these devices was fairly standard CMOS. The outputs were split into several smaller pieces to implement the Gradual Turn-On scheme to reduce the output edge rate and device noise.

Lee
