If SYNCOUT is not used, is it recommended to leave it open?

    Hello Itoh-san,

    Yes, it is OK to leave this pin open if it is not needed in an application.  The recommended pull-up resistance is only needed when the pin is used to signal to some other device since the output stage uses an open-drain structure and an external pull-up is expected to drive the "high" logic level.
