DS160PR410: I/O DC coupling

Dear TI,

I would like to use the DS160PR410 redriver DC coupled at the input and output.

Do do that I would need some specifications that are not reported in the datasheet.

About in input:

- What is the common mode input impedance?

- What is the input bias voltage

- What is the input common mode volage range

About the output:

- What is the output common mode voltage

- What is the output common mode impedance

- What is output common mode voltage range

Hi Paolo,

DS160PR410 is meant to be used in AC coupled environment. As long as you use AC coupling capacitor values to accommodate highest run length of your data pattern this should work for your application. Please let us know your application and data pattern being used.

Seat Nasser,

my application is a t&m equipment that requires DC coupling. Signals could stay High or Lw for indefinite time.

Is there any reason why the DS160PR410 could not work at dc? I can adjust the DC levels at the input and output of the device but I need to know the i/o specs of my previous message: bias voltage, common mode voltage range, common mode impedance.

Can you please help me?
