HD3SS6126: Not easy to find the device when switching HD3SS6126EVM

hi Sir,

My customer use HD3SS6126 to switch two host with one device.

power on no at no matter which host, the host can recognize the device. But if we switch the device after power on, the host cannot recognize the device. if no hub, it works correct. the cable between evm and hub is only 15cm. they already try 3 different hubs.

Do you think that it's driving issue or others?

Also, they put the asic on the board similar with block diagram. It shows the same issues. So, i think that there may be something wrong.

Hi Frank,

There could be a issue with the USB Hub not retrying USB enumeration. Can you try a different USB Hub to see the issue still appears?

hi Malik,

For the EVM test, my customer already tried 3 different HUB. The issue is the same.

Any ideal?

Hi Frank,

The upstream ports of the hub may be entering compliance mode. Can customer take USB trace in between HD3SS6126EVM and Host?
