TPS65988DJ: Asking for the design on TPS65988 on power sink role

Hi Team,

Customer is designing TPS65988 two type C port solution

Design requirement

1. Two type C port.
2. No alt. mode
3. Two type c port are all sink power role.
4. sink profile is 5V/1A. No power source role.
5. The system power is coming from either type C port. if not host type C port, then system will not get the power

Would you please provide comment for the following questions?

Can customer short PPHV1 and PPHV2 together?

e.g. PPHV1 has 5V with 500mA loading for system power, then PPHV2 path mos turn on.

Will that resulted the fault issue or mos damage?
