DS90UB953A-Q1: Unique serial number per part

Part Number: DS90UB953A-Q1

Hi,

I'd like to inquire how to check/see the unique serial number per part of the serializer DS90UB953? (not the ID on 0xF0... register addresses, but the unique S/N per part.)

if it's not to much to ask, also the deserializers DS90UB960 and 954 as well.

Hi Laud,

The registers used to access this info is explained in the datasheet for each part. For the 953a, take a look at section 7.7.133 and Table 143. You basically have to go into the indirect registers 0xb0 and then set the register with 0xb1 and read the value of that register with 0xb3.
