DS90UB947-Q1: Serializer word and mode construction

Part Number: DS90UB947-Q1

Hi Team,

I read the 947 datasheet and face some questions showing as below.

--------------------------------

Single pixel openLDI interface means using D[3:0] input

Dual pixel openLDI interface means using D[7:0] input

Is above explanation right?

---------------------------------

If I use D[7:0] input openLDI  and the deserializer output is D[7:0] fix, could output D[3:0] only?

If I use D[3:0] input openLDI  and the deserializer output is D[3:0] fix, could output D[7:0] ?

---------------------------------

Regards,

Roy

  • Hello Roy,

    This statement is correct:

Single pixel openLDI interface means using D[3:0] input

Dual pixel openLDI interface means using D[7:0] input

For the configuration of dual vs. single openLDI, serializer and deserializer and independent. The serializer can use single while the deserializer uses dual, or the other way around. They could also both use singe or both use dual.

    Best Regards,

    Casey
