Hello TI-Team,

I have a problem changing the default ALP profile (DS90UH925) to DS90UB954.

I use ALP v1.57.0100 and I've also installed ALP-Profile-Update package. After connecting the DS90UB954-Q1EVM via USB mini to USB cable with the PC, i started ALP Software.

Then I followed the Instruction of the User Guide (11.4).

I go to Tools and select USB2ANY/Aardvark Setup to change the profile. In the Setup Window I select the active profile DS90UH925 and click "Remove". Then i scroll down the list of available profiles to DS90UB954, click
to highlight it, click "Add". The profile change in the Setup Window from DS90UH925 toDS90UB954. I click "Ok", the Setup window closed and the device-profil in the List doesn't change.

There is still the default DS90UH925. Why it doesn't change?

Hello Casey,

I'm using Windows10 64-bit. I read that ALP currently only runs under Windows 7 and 8.

Is that true?

Hello Sebastian,

ALP can run under Windows 10 also.

Regarding your issue, please let us know

a) Did you download and install latest version of ALP from

http://www.ti.com/tool/ALP

b) In addition to downloading framework utility, you also have to download and install ALP-PROFILE-UPDATE (latest). This updates all the devices to latest version.

c) Please upload full screen capture of ALP Info Tab. Also, a photo of your EVM setup and connection to PC.

Hello Vishy,

thanks for your reply. After I've uninstalled ALP and installed it again, it works.

I can change the ALP-Profile now. I don't know what the problem was.
