Hi，

  We use DP83867ERGZT ,the datasheet say

1.8-V Analog Supply (±5%).
No external supply is required for this pin. When unused, no connections
should be made to this pin.
For additional power savings, an external 1.8-V supply can be connected to
these pins. When using an external supply, each pin requires a 1-μF and 0.1-
μF capacitor to GND.

I want to know the meaning of  power saving . 1.8V pin  no connection or  external supply connect,witch way is Recommended

    Hello,

    By connecting a 1.8V supply to VDDA1P8 pins, you can expect to see lower total power consumption of the PHY. TI does not recommend one configuration over another, your system requirements should determine if a 1.8V supply is available and worthwhile.
