HD3SS215: HDMI auto detection

Can you please tell me if it is possible and if so explain how the HD3SS215 can automatically detect an HDMI input and switch to it? What I mean by automatic is no intervention from a host controller to manipulate Dx_SEL and AUX_SEL. Can some logic gates be added to a circuit to make it happen?

    HI

    You would have to add external logic to control the DX_SEL and AUX_SEL using Table 1 in the HD3SS215 datasheet as a reference. HPDA and HPDB can be used as the input to the external logic, and you have to add a priority to A or B when both HPDA and HPDB are high.
