Hi Team,
My customer meet three question when doing PMA and IOP test.Could you please help? Thanks!
Q1: OABR_PMA_TX_06 Check MDI Mode conversion
Initial conditions: Power mode IG ON.
Steps:
1. Set DUT’PHY Test Mode to Normal Operation.
2. Set DUT’PHY to Slave Mode.
3. Measure the value of Mode Conversion (Sdc11).
Problem phenomenon:
Between 30Mhz and 70Mhz & 100Mhz and 200Mhz, the value of Mode conversion loss is higher than the limit line.
Desired result:
Between 1Mhz-200Mhz, the value of Mode conversion loss is lower than Limit line.
Q2:OABR_PMA_TX_05 Check the MDI return Loss
Initial conditions: Power mode IG ON.
Steps:
1. Set DUT’PHY Test Mode to Normal Operation.
2. Set DUT’PHY to Slave Mode.
3. Measure the value of return loss Sdd11).
Problem phenomenon:
Between 3.1Mhz to 3Mhz & 8Mhz to 66Mhz, the value of return loss is higher than the limit line.
Desired result:
Between 1Mhz-66Mhz, the value of return loss is lower than Limit line.
Q3: Link-up time - Trigger: Power on ECU
Initial conditions:
1. The Golden Device is connected to a stable power supply.
2. The DUT must operate in normal mode.
3. The supplier provides Tready1.
Steps:
1. The Golden Device is activated and ready to establish Link Up, and the DUT is in sleep state.
2. Send the DUT wake-up signal. tstart = tWakeUpDUT.
3. Golden Device link_control = active link. tstop = tActiveLink.
4. Calculate tUp = tstop-tstart.
5. Switch the DUT to sleep.
6. Repeat steps 2-5 100 times.
7. Calculate tUp standard deviation, tmin and tmax.
Problem phenomenon:
1. tUp mean square error is 73.64ms> 50ms
2. tMax (39435ms)> 200 ms + tReady1 (35000ms)
Desired result:
1. tUp mean square error <50ms
2. tMax <200 ms + tReady1
