TL16C2552: Maximum Power Dissipation

Hey Mark,

Our UART devices are what I would consider pretty low power devices since they don't drive high currents. (GPOs typically are tied to Hi-Z inputs)

I think the best way to estimate the power consumption is to use the supply current and multiply it by the operating voltage.

For example, if you were operating at 1.8V the max supply current is 1.5mA so the estimated max power would be 2.7mW
