Hi Roy,

U5 is a DIP socket for placing an external local EEPROM for EDID, which is accessed via the DDC interface. Pin 8 on the socket U5 is powered by VDD_DDC.

For J18:

19: HPD
18: RX_5V
16: DDC_SDA
15: DDC_SCL
13: CEC
