DP83822IF: Low Clock

Hi all,

I started my once project using PHY DP83822IF with Master mode configured in RX_DV strap pin, but when measuring the clock out in pin RX_D3 is got approximately 40Khz rather than 50Mhz.

i have already verified all power and ground pin including the pins XI and XO that have 25Mhz and followed the Power Supply Recommendations

would like know what can happening for causing this fail?

Hi William,

We don't expect 40 Mhz on RX_D3 in RMII Mater Mode.

Can you try configuring the PHY in MII mode and check the frequency on RX_CLK and TX_CLK ?

Tried change to MII mode and the frequency on RX_CLK and TX_CLK is same approximately 40Khz,

What frequency we do expect on RX_D3 in RMII Mater Mode?

RMII Master : 50 MHz on RX_D3 ( with and with out LInk)

MII :2.5 MHz without link.

Can you please check your supply power ramp is correct as shown in Datasheet ?
