DS100DF410: How to terminate unused channel pins?

Hello,

 

My customer is using 2 of 4 channels of DS100DF410.

For unused channels, can RXP/N pins and TXP/N pins be left unconnected?

If some kind of terminations are required, please let me know that.

    Hi Hirano-San,

    Un-used channels get power down since there is no signal detect so you can leave them un-connected. As a good design practice i prefer to terminate signals and thus like to AC couple and then through 49.9 ohm Resistor connect each pin to ground.
