    The change is done to reflect it supports HDMI protocol and from electrical characteristics, it can handle data rates up to 6Gbps. 

    Some customers get confused with protocol features between HDMI versions and subversions, this device just switches the electrical signals.

    The HD3SS215 can handle the HDMI2.0(6Gbps) data rate.
