SN65DSI83: Mismatch pin out

Hi Team,

Our customer want to use SN65DSI83 and found out a mismatching problem, I need your help here.

Please compare page 4 and the mechanical data from the page before last page from the datasheet. http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/sn65dsi83.pdf?&ts=1589555324661

Which one is the right pin layout??

Hi Rui,

They are both correct. One is the view from the top and the other is the view from the bottom.

Hi I.K, Thanks for your prompt response. Does that mean this A-J and 1-9 only for reference? Because on the top view A is next to 9 and bottom view A is next to 1. Regards Rui

Hi Rui,

If you can imagine rotating the top view counterclockwise 90 degrees and then flipping it upside down, you would have the bottom view as shown.
