HD3SS3220: HD3SS3220 cannot detect USB3.0 when typec is inserted for the second time

Part Number: HD3SS3220

Hi team,

we have faced a problem in our customer design.The schematic diagram is as follows:

highlight two thing:for now, VCC33 is linked with a voltage resource in MCU so the 3.3v would not reset with typeC pulg in

                                              VDD5 is connected with USB-Vbus so the 5V would reset with TPYEC pulg in;

Problem:  Equipment can identify USB3.1 at the first time to insert TYPEC but can not read USB3.1 with second insert. whether this kind of power supply would limit the CC dectection at second insert?

when customer change the power supply, supply 3.3V from USB-Vbus through LDO which means VCC33 can be reset with TYPEC insert. The system back to normal. We may want to know how power supply way influence the CC dectection? and do we have other way to solve this problem without change any power supply?

BR

Brandon.
