Hi Team,
My customer faced the EMI issue of 935. The frequency is around 100~300MHz.
Could 935 lower its drive capability to have better EMI? or Do you have any suggestion?
Regards,
Roy

Hello Roy,
At which data rate is the Ser-Des running?
Which clocking mode is being used? i.e. external clock or synchronous mode?
is the problem you are having is an Emission problem or Immunity?
Hi Hamzeh,
I sent you some file due to confidential.

Hello Roy,
can you try the following two tests:
To lower Serializer's VOD from 1.1Vpp to 0.8Vpp you need to write:
0xB0,0x04 then 0xB1,0x5F and 0xB2,0x02.
To again increase the Serializer's VOD from 0.8Vpp to 1.1Vpp write:
0xB0,0x04, then 0xB1,0x5F and 0xB2,0x00
You can also Slow down the Serializer's output (Rise/ Fall time) by writing:
0xB0,0x04, then 0xB1,0x5F and then 0xB2,0x04.
To restore the original Rise/Fall time, write:
0xB0,0x04, then 0xB1,0x5F and 0xB2,0x00
Hi Hamzeh,
Could you also provide a table to show the meaning of the values changed in registers B0/B1/B2 indirect register?
We find that our current setting values are 0x04/0x4a/0x3f and you suggested to change them to 0x04/0x5f/0x02 for 1.1V adjustment and change to 0x04/0x5f/0x04 for rise/fall time adjustment, I also want to know the meaning for our current settings (0x04/0x4a/0x3f). Thanks.
Regards,
Roy
