TCA6408A: INT pin behavior

Part Number: TCA6408A

Hello Team

Would you advise what behavior will happen on the INT pin when power up?

My customer would like to judge TCA6408A started up or not by

checking INT pin's H or L. Is it possible to check?

Please find attached circuit diagram for connection.

Thanks

Best regards,

  • Hey Shidara,

It should power up as de-asserted (HIGH) unless any of the GPIOs change start after power up.

From the diagram you've shown, The INT pin will be HIGH upon start up of V_1 and should remain HIGH after V_2 powers up. The CPU wouldn't see the INT toggle.

That being said though, you could place an RC circuit on one of the inputs (of one of the GPIOs) to make the INT flip after a delay after V_2 powers up.
