DP83825I: DP83825i transmission distance

Hi Expert,

the datasheet said that DP83825i can support up to 150 meters reach over CAT5e cable. They tested 50m and 75m, the communication can work well, but failed when increasing the cable to 150m(using CAT5e cable). Could you tell what the factors are that may affect the transmission distance?

    Hi Lenna,

    Can you check if the schematic and layout requirements from the datasheet are taken in to account while design the board? Please also check that the register optimization mentioned in datasheet Table 5 is used on the application. Lastly, if the link partner is a different device, then it should also support 150m cable reach.
