Hi team,,

In DS90UB954 only RX Port0 has video input,but when i set register 0x20=0x00,regster 0x4e prompt BUFFER_ERROR, and when i set register 0x20 = 0x20,the register 0x4e equal 0x04.

Is this phenomenon normal?Register 0x20 should I set 0x20 or 0x00？

Hello Alec,

is your RX Port1 enabled or disabled?

If using only RX Port0, It is correct to set reg 0x20 = 0x20.

May be you have some hardware issues at the input side of the 954. It looks like you may have cross-talking or some reflections.

How can I confirm if there is cross-talking or some reflections at the input side of 954？

Hello Alec,

you can measure the Return-Loss, Insertion-Loss and Cross-talk on your board using a network analyzer. Also you may use our MAP tool in ALP to evaluate the quality of the link.
