DS15EA101: Simulation models for hyperlynx other than IBIS

Hello,

I'm looking for simulation models for DS15BA101/DS15EA101 which i could use to simulate transmission line in hyperlinx. The only models I could find are IBIS model, but to see the impact of preemphasis or equalization I would need touchstone file (s4p) or simple spice netlist.

I would be grateful if you could provide me required models or help me with finding other way to perform simulation.

Hi Stopa,

DS15EA101 and DS15BA101 were developed about 15 years ago and there is only ibis model available for DS15EA101 device.

If you could please let us know about your application and we might be able to comment and recommend more recent parts with IBIS-AMI model.

I'm looking for solutions to transmit LVDS signal between two FPGA modules on at least 50m distance and min.100Mbit/s

Hi KS,

Is this 50m 75-ohm or 50-ohm cable? If this is 50-ohm cable then there is only ibis file for modeling. For 75-ohm cable, you can consider LMH0324 and there is IBIS-AMI file that can be used for your modeling.

We can use either DS15EA101 or DS30EA101. However, there is only IBIS file available for these devices.
