We are using the DP83822IF with a AM437x processor in MII mode.
The DP83822IF is initially configure using boostrap resistors. It is connected to a SFP port, Signal Detect is enabled and Phy is in FX mode. Signal detect for SFP modules is Active High so we need to invert the signal on the Phy.
We tried to write a 1 to Bit 0 of the FIBER GENCFG (0x0465), but when we read back the register it remains 0. If we try to write to different registers we can read back the written value.
It seems the register is somehow locked.
Besides this problem there also seems to be a typo in the description of the 0x0465 register the active high and low are reversed according to HW tests we made.
