Dear Team,
Customer have below requirements for RS485, please recommend suitable part with the lowest cost:
All serial ports shall be able to handle the following communication speeds with a maximum deviation in transmitting and receiving speed(s) of ±3 %:
- 300 bps
- 1.2 kbps
- 2.4 kbps
- 4.8 kbps
- 9.6 kbps
- 19.2 kbps
- 38.4 kbps
- 57.6 kbps
- 115.2 kbps
- 230.4 kbps
All serial port shall have at least a 16-byte FIFO.
The RS485 bus transceiver shall be of type “Slew-Rate limited”.
The serial port shall support RS485 Modbus and pro-vide the power output of +12V, 200mA from each port.
Note: RS485 is a balanced signal point-to-multi-point layer 1 interface according to /ISOIEC8482/ and /TIA-EIA/
Serial port transceivers must have upper slew rate limit above or equal to 230.4 Kbit and below or equal to 2 * 230.4 Kbit.
There shall be a SW selectable line to line termination/bias for RS485 with 330-ohm termination and 680ohm pull-up to +3.3V & 680ohm pull-down to 0 V.
The RJ45 connector pinning shall be as specified in below table. Pin1 & Pin3 is same A, Pin2 & Pin6 is same B
The ports must be isolated to each other and polarity protection must be ensured.
