DP83867IR: 1Gbps ethernet extender

Hi,

We found DP83867IR chip.

I wonder if we could use two of them connected "back-to-back" to work as 1Gb ethernet extender.

Would I need two oscillators (one per chip)?

Or are there any other requirements?

Have you got any guidance note?

It would be mostly lots of UDP data one way plus some TCP both directions for the moment.
