DS80PCI402: AC coupling caps

In the Design Requirements section of the datasheet, it is mentioned that 220nF ac coupling caps are recommended.

Can you comment on the cap range recommended?  Is 220nF the min recommended?

    Hi Gregory,

    The 220nF value is recommended for all PCIe applications.  The specification is shown below.

    CTX = 156nF (min) and  275nF (max)

    The value of 220nF is the most common standard value to meet this specification and have margin to the limits.

    We also recommend using a package size of 0402 or smaller. The 0201 size is ideal for most PCIe applications.
