IO-EXPANDER-EVM: PCB schematic : slvua59a.pdf

Part Number:

Hi,

Is Fig.5 in slvua59a.pdf the same as the circuit in which TCA9539 is installed?
Pin No.2 of TCA9539 and TCA6416 is different.
Is A1 of TCA9539 fixed to Hi?
When changing to TCA9535, is A2 fixed at Low?

The customer wants a new schematic.
Can TI provide it?

Regards,
Hiroshi

[Bobby] Yes, the A1 pin is tied HIGH if you populate the TCA9539
When changing to TCA9535, is A2 fixed at Low?
[Bobby] No, the A2 pin is tied HIGH if you populate the TCA9535. You can see the RESET_16 net is tied to R8 which is tied to PWR (3.6V according to J1 pin 1 note).

The customer wants a new schematic.
    Can TI provide it?
[Bobby] The schematic shown in fig 5 provides the information required for a customer to be able to understand what happens when you populate U2 with a different device other than the TCA6416

  • Bobby,

Thank you for your quick reply.
    Certainly A2 is Hi.
There is no problem if there is no change in the circuit.

    Hiroshi
