Hi team,

I plan to connect 25MHz crystal to XOUT/XIN pin of DS90UB936 as a reference clock.

1. Is there a specification such like VIH/VIL or Vpp for Xtal input?

The amplitude spec is described in the datasheet for REFCLK, but is there similar requirement in Xtal use case too?

2. Is there below requirement for Xtal?

- max Drive level (uW)

- Max time for stable oscillation after power up

For Crystal application in xin and xout pins, generally the capacitors connected to xin and xout are cared. amplitude / swing are not used here.

regarding driving level, pls follow up our evm BOM, for detailed spec, I will check it tomorrow, thanks.

Hello,

As far as the max drive level, we use the ABM3-25.000MHZ-D2W-T crystal with the DS90UB936. Please pick a crystal with similar parameters. If you choose a significantly different crystal, we can verify that it will work with the 936.
