AM26LV31E: Looking for a matching reciver with very low channel to channel pulse skew

Part Number: AM26LV31E
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM26LV32E, , SN65LBC172A, SN65C1167E, AM26LS31, AM26C31, AM26LV31, SN65LBC174A

The AM26LV31EINSR data sheet states "pulse Skew Time: 500 ps Typical" could you suggest a reciver that also has such a fine limit on channel to channel skew?

Thanks

  • Hi,

I'm not sure if I understand your requirement. Do you need a recommendation about a quadruple receiver or 'normal' transceiver (like 1T/1R)? BTW the pairing device for AM26LV31E is AM26LV32E. Do you need the receiver skew with small variation within one channel? In this case the total signal chain (from TX to RX) has small skew. Or do you need the receiver skew with small variation among channels? In this case, AM26LV31E's tsk(o) is comparable.

  • Hi,

I am looking for a  small variation between channels this is stated for the transmitter, it is not stated for the reciver.

  • Tsk(o) of AM26LV31E is 1.5ns max. Tsk(o) of AM26LV31 is 3ns max. This spec is not available for AM26C31, AM26LS31, SN65LBC172A, SN65LBC174A, SN65C1167, and SN65C1167E. However by comparing Tsk(p), AM26LV31E still has the smallest skew. What's your application and what's the skew requirement?

  • Hi,

I know the AM26LV31E is proablly the best in class. My question is which reciver has the lowest channel to channel pulse skew? The channel to channel skew does not seem to be stated in the data sheet of AM26LV32E, what is the channel to channel skew?

  • Same to the AM26LV31E's terminology, tsk(o) is the channel to channel skew that is 6ns max for AM26LV32E. Please let me know if you have more questions.

    Regards,
