Can the TPS65987D be operated without the external flash and the patch code & configuration be dynamically downloaded from an external host over I2C2?
(I.e., per the statement on page 15 of TPS65987_TPS65988_SPI_Flash_Firmware_Update_Over_I2C_slvae21a.pdf: 5. If no patch bundle is available, or no external flash is present, the boot code proceeds to check for the presence of a host. Depending on the BUSPOWERZ configuration, the boot code waits indefinitely for the host to provide patch or proceeds with the default configuration as listed in Table 2.)
