DS90UB960-Q1: How to resolve the far-side remote control???

We can control the local DS90UB960-Q1 by I2C, but can not remote control the far-side DS90UB953-Q1. BTW, we can receive the image data without remote control far-side. How to resolve this remote control issue? Thanks~

Hello Paul,

Does this board use PoC to power the remote camera? If so can you please share your PoC circuit on each side for review? Also is this synchronous or non-synchronous mode?

Hi Casey,

Yes, we use PoC to power the camera. Circuit as following, this works at non-synchronous mode.

Hello Paul,

I'm not sure what is going on with the topology here but it looks like multiple RX ports are set to source current from one single PoC network? This will not work - each RX port needs to have its own filter network. Also the component selection looks questionable here not following the datasheet recommendation. Please see the 960 datasheet figure 40 and table 262 for recommended networks
