Hi team,

about the eye diagram test of DS90UB948-Q1, since we don't have the requirement SPECs of eye diagram, customer can not judge wether the EYE diagram can meet the needs.  i attached the testing result as follow:

we may need to confirm several question below:

1)whether the eye diagram and jitter from attachment file can meet the UB948? Can you provide DS90UB948 eye diagram and jitter parameter requirements?

2)Does the eye diagram test require oscilloscope settings? As shown in the attachment, please check whether our current oscilloscope settings are reasonable? Test 1 screen capture 4us time waveform, the sampling rate is 100GS/s.

3)Judging from the eye diagram, the rising edge is slower, do you need to adjust EQ for 941/947/948? How to adjust?

4)Is there a test mode for 941/947/948? Let FPDLINK run to the highest rate supported by FPDLINK-III, and test the eye diagram at the highest data rate such as 3Gbps?

    Hi Brandon,

    I have sent you the scope configurations for testing FPD-Link channel. Since the settings you have used is different, i would recommend you test the channel again.

    When testing eye diagram, you dont have to adjust any EQ settings and if you want to run at the highest rate you would need to supply  the max PCLK as there is no test mode avaliable.
