Can DS90UB949 accept a 1280 x 720 @120Hz video source?

    Hi Brian,

    Yes, the 949 can support 720p video at 120 Hz, in dual link mode. 

    The required pixel clock frequency for your configuration is 720p*1280p*120fps = 110 MHz. The datasheet shows that in dual link operation, the maximum clock frequency is 170 MHz, so you are within the supported range. The maximum operating frequency in single link mode is 96 MHz and would not support your configuration.

    The DS90UB948-Q1 and the DS90UB940-Q1 are the deserializers capable of receiving dual-stream video from the 949.
