Hi, Team,

When we use 953-954 chipset and 953 is getting 2 Virtual channel data (YUV and RAW) from Image sensor, can the 954 mapping those 2 data separated into each 2Lane CSI-2 output?

Details,

Image sensor [output 4Lane CSI-2 with 2 VC data (YUV and RAW)] => 953 => 954 [output 2Lane CSI-2 for YUV and 2Lane CSI-2 for RAW]

Is it possible?

I think 960 family can be meet this requirement using 2* CSI-2 output port.

Hello Koh,

954 does not have two independent CSI-2 ports. The 4 lane port can be split into a 2x2 CSI-2 port but the two two lane ports are replicas of each-other with the same data.

960 has two independent ports but the data forwarding from RX port to CSI-2 output is based on FPD-Link RX channel. There is no way to split data coming from one port to two different CSI-2 outputs based on virtual channel. If you forward and RX port to a CSI-2 output, then it will forward all virtual channels coming from that port.
