SN75LVDS83B: Interface SW Re-Mapping

Part Number: SN75LVDS83B
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM5728

Hi Team,

My customer accidentally hard wired the SN75LVDS83B to the AM5728 on their first batch of boards to JEIDA-24, but their display only support VESA-24.

Is there a way to re-map the colors in SW? Reworking all 24 lanes is causing some issues on their side.

Regards, Diego

  • Hello Diego,

SN75LVDS83B does not have any configuration for bit mapping adjustment. Actually it doesn't have any SW or registers at all

Maybe you can consult the AM5728 SW team? I am moving this thread to the other forum

    Best Regards,

    Casey

  • Hi Diego,

What SW are you using for Display output? PDK RTOS display driver or Linux display driver?

You can certainly hack the RGB format sent to display frame buffer but you will need to be familiar with the display driver to do that.

    Regards,
    Stanley
