Hi all,

1)Can I interface LMH0344 or LMH0384 with cyclone FPGA - Altera Cyclone V directly without AC coupling capacitors.

2) What is the difference between LMH0344 and LMH0384 IC

Hi Umesh,

1). Please AC couple to Cyclone FPGA since this isolates common mode voltage. Otherwise this could affect signal integrity.

2). Please note LMH0384 has longer cable reaches at 3G and HD.

Hi Nasser,

Replaced LMH0344 with LMH0384.

FPGA is able to receive the data. My source is HD SDI. Since LMH0384 has better reach as you told for HD. I think that solved my problem.
