Asking for the TUSB212 and TS3USB221 design suggestion

TUSB211 DP and DM pin can be shorted underneath the device, D1 side to D2 side. There is no need for co-layout with resistors as the redriver can be removed without breaking the bus since traces can be shorted underneath the device. In the layout I recommend that both TUSB211s are placed "inline" with the USB2 bus to eliminate unnecessary stubs and impedance changes. See Figure 8. DP and DM Routing Underneath Device Package in datasheet for an example.

Layout review was sent over DM. I do not recommend moving land pattern to create short under the device.  This prevent good solder coverage on the device pad and could cause issues. Layout should be similar to Figure 22. DP and DM Routing Underneath Device Package in the datasheet. Other comments are located in the document. Also I noticed that there is a "USB activity detector", has the customer considered using CD and ENA_HS to fill this purpose?  Could you give more details on what this circuit is detecting? Has customer calculated trace impedance with additional components on the bus (200 ohm resistors)?
