DS25BR100: Differential Input High Threshold

Part Number: DS25BR100

Hi,

Q1. I understand "Differential Input High Threshold" (VTH: +100mV (max)) as:

If the differential input voltage is 100 mV or more higher than CMR (input common mode voltage), it is not recognized as High (not guaranteed).

Is it correct?

Q2. usually we refer minimum value about "High Level Input Voltage" but why VTH is defined with max value?

Best regards,

kpk

  • Hi KPK,

Q1:  For VTH if the IN+ pin is +100mV with respect to the IN- pin the device is guaranteed to output a "High".  Similarly, if the IN+ pin is -100mV with respect to the IN- pin the device is guaranteed to output a "Low".

Q2: In the datasheet it specifies the maximum Threshold Voltage level or the "minimum" voltage required to guarantee a valid output state.

    Regards,
